About.
I established, grew, merged an exited a successful lifestyle web development agency. My co-founder and I grew that agency from our kitchen tables into something really special. We worked with global brands such as Pernod Ricard, Chivas Brothers, won numerous creative awards and the Inspiring Herts Business of the Year in 2019. I could not be more proud of the achievements of the agency and team. It was a true privilege to lead it for so long.
In 2019 we fully pivoted the agency into its niche, establishing ourselves as the leading web design agency for visitor attractions. During that time I led major web development projects for Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, Beefeater Gin Visitor Centre, National Parks UK, Holkham and Pensthorpe.
I created and hosted the UK’s No.1 sector podcast Skip the Queue, and developed the initiative and marketing strategy for ground breaking insight pieces such as the Visitor Attraction Website Report.
Speaking internationally at events for ALVA, ASVA, AVEA, BALPPA, sector conferences The Visitor Attractions Conference and Ticketing Professionals Conference, I became a leading figure within the visitor attraction industry.
After 21 years, I successfully exited the agency.
I now work with founders of independent lifestyle agencies as an advisor and mentor. I specialise in defining niche strategies and positioning agencies as the go to team in their chosen sector.
I am an advisor and connector, at my best when success depends on resourcefulness. When challenges seem to have no obvious solution, I will know who has the specific skill required to solve it.
Working with me will provide you the clarity and confidence you need to own your niche, and attain that first £500k turnover milestone.
What you really need to know about me
Winning Business Woman of the Year at the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards was an honour, but my greatest achievement is being a mother to our daughter.
My husband and I suffered 8.5 years of infertility. We’ve been through 8 rounds of IVF, 5 pregnancies, the loss of 5 longed for babies, the stillbirth of our twins and a devastating termination for medical reasons. We shared our story with Tommy’s to help raise awareness of TFMR.
I continued to lead the agency while all that was happening, so I am definitely someone you want on your side.
I hate peas, but love sausage rolls. And biscuits. All of them.
North Norfolk has my heart. We have a holiday cottage in Aylsham.
“Your achievements and your influence on the sector have been enormous. You’ve literally changed the online environment in which attractions and the cultural and heritage sectors do business, communicate, engage and have conversations.”
Bernard Donoghue OBE
Director, Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA)
